Netflix Asia Pacific Comic Con

At AsiaPOP Comicon 2017, Netflix returned to the SMX Convention Center in Manila with an even bigger and more captivating presence. This time, their booth brought fans closer than ever to the worlds of their favorite shows, solidifying Netflix's place as a pop culture powerhouse in the Philippines.

The challenge was to make the booth stand out. With larger-than-life setups inspired by hit series such as Stranger Things, The Defenders, and Riverdale. Camacho's creative vision brought these shows to life in immersive, interactive spaces. Fans experienced an eerie recreation of Stranger Things' Upside Down, complete with flickering lights, creeping vines, and the ominous Demogorgon. This highly detailed set quickly became one of the most popular photo spots at the event.

One of the booth’s main attractions was the gritty The Defenders section, where fans stepped into the streets of New York, encountering props and settings from Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones. Camacho’s urban-inspired design created a raw, immersive atmosphere, making visitors feel like they were part of the action.

In contrast, the Riverdale diner setup offered a nostalgic throwback to Pop’s Chock'lit Shoppe, complete with retro diner decor, inviting fans to snap photos as if they were part of the show’s iconic cast.
